Who operates this website
This website is operated by Irit Rosenstein, Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO), operating as Rosen Therapy. This policy explains how information submitted through this website is collected and used.
Information collected through this website
The only personal information collected through this website is what you choose to provide when getting in touch, such as your name, email address, and phone number. This can happen in two ways: by using the mailto contact link on the Contact page, or by using the online booking widget (powered by Cal.com) to request a consultation.
This website does not collect or store any clinical or health information. What is discussed in therapy sessions is not part of this website and is handled under separate, more stringent professional and legal obligations — see “Clinical confidentiality is different” below.
How this information is used
Information you provide is used only to respond to your inquiry and to schedule a consultation or appointment. It is not used for marketing, sold, or shared with any party except as described below.
Third parties
The Contact page offers two ways to reach out, and each involves a different third party:
Email. If you email using the mailto link, that message is sent through your own email provider. It is not collected or stored by this website.
Online booking. If you use the online booking widget to request a consultation, the scheduling service Cal.com acts as a data processor for that booking. Cal.com receives the information needed to schedule an appointment — such as your name, email address, timezone, and the appointment details you select. Cal.com’s handling of that information is governed by Cal.com’s own privacy policy.
Clinical confidentiality is different
This policy covers only information handled through this website. It does not cover the confidentiality of anything discussed during therapy sessions. Session content and client health records are governed separately, under the professional and legal obligations that apply to a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario — including the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) standards of practice and Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). Confidentiality of your sessions and health information is addressed directly with you as part of informed consent to treatment, not through this website.
Data security and retention
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect the contact information submitted through this website. Contact information is retained only for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry or complete scheduling, and is not kept longer than necessary for that purpose.
Your rights
You may request access to, or deletion of, any contact information you have submitted through this website. To make such a request or ask any question about this policy, contact irit@rosentherapy.com.
